IHGF Delhi Fair
If you buy home, gift or lifestyle goods from India then IHGF is the big one. Brassware, furniture, textiles, gifts and fashion accessories from India's craft clusters all turn up under one roof, twice a year, at Greater Noida just outside Delhi. If you buy home, gift or lifestyle goods from India then IHGF is the big one. Brassware, furniture, textiles, gifts and fashion accessories from India's craft clusters all turn up under one roof, twice a year, at Greater Noida just outside Delhi. It suits buyers who want to see a lot of categories in one trip, and it's kind to the ones who shortlist before they fly and brutal to the ones who don't.
One thing to know before you book - there's no free hotel or airfare at IHGF, so it's the priciest way to meet Indian home and gift exporters. Is it still worth it? For the sheer size of the hall, yes.
Next Edition
The spring (63rd) edition runs 15 to 19 March 2027, and the autumn (64th) edition runs 15 to 19 October 2027 (EPCH fair dates 2027 to 2030 (opens in a new tab), read 21 October 2026). You register as a buyer on the IHGF registration page (opens in a new tab). EPCH doesn't name the 2027 venue on that page, but every recent edition has been at the India Expo Centre, so we'd be surprised if that changed.

Who Exhibits and What to Ask at Every Stand
EPCH, the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts, organises the fair, and it says over 3,000 manufacturers and exporters show across 16 product categories. Every exhibitor has to be a paid-up EPCH member with a three-year export performance certificate (EPCH exhibitor brochure (opens in a new tab)). In plain terms, every stand is a registered exporter with a real export history.
That tells you who ships. It doesn't tell you who makes.
An Indian textile exporter put it bluntly on a forum in 2025 - plenty of merchant exporters call themselves manufacturers, and when you visit, the factory turns out to be somewhere else (r/IndiaBusiness, October 2025 (opens in a new tab)). They were talking about leather, but the same thing happens across Indian home and gift goods. We don't think that's a red flag, and you shouldn't either. Merchant exporters are how most small Indian workshops reach a foreign buyer at all, and a good one earns its margin on design, consolidation and paperwork, but if you don't know who's making your goods then you can't tell who answers for quality when a batch goes wrong.
So ask the same thing at every stand you like. Where is this made, by whom, and can I visit the unit? A straight answer is a good sign whichever way it goes, and the checks that come after are on how to check an Indian supplier.
Hosted-Buyer Terms
As published in September 2026, IHGF gives you no free hotel and no airfare. What pre-registered overseas buyers do get is free transfers and access to discounted hotel rooms. We don't publish room rates, so check the current ones with EPCH before you book.
If a subsidised first trip matters more to you than the size of the hall then look at the hosted programmes on India's trade fairs page first.
Visa and Getting There
Use the e-Business Visa and apply at least two weeks ahead, and earlier for October, when Diwali slows everything down. EPCH issues visa letters through visitors@ihgfdelhifair.in.
The venue is in Greater Noida, which is a fair drive from Delhi. Register before the fair and you can use the organiser's free transfers, which beats haggling over a car every morning.
What to Expect at the Fair
It's trade visitors only. The pre-fair exhibitor directory is searchable by product, so build your shortlist before you land - five days goes quickly in a hall this size.
The fair courts Indian buyers too. Its exhibitor form asks about "Domestic Volume Buyers" and "Small Orders", which is good news if your first order is small, because exhibitors expect it. The flip side is that you'll share the aisles with Indian retailers, so say early that you're buying for export and for which market. That one line changes the whole conversation on compliance, packing and price terms.
