Privacy Policy

SourcingFrom is free to read without an account. This page says what we collect when you use the site, why, and how to reach us about it. Questions go toteam@sourcingfrom.com.
What we collect
- What you send us. When you join the newsletter or send an enquiry, we keep what you type (your email address and, for an enquiry, the product and your message), the page you sent it from and the country your connection comes from.
- How the site is used. A few named events, such as a search or a finished tool, are recorded with the page and the country. They carry no name, no email and no cookie, and we use them only to see which pages and tools help buyers.
- Your IP address, briefly. We use it for a short time to limit how often a form can be sent, so the site is not flooded with spam.
What stays on your device
Your light or night choice, where you stopped reading a long guide and the ticks on a checklist are kept in your browser's storage. They never leave your device, and clearing your browser data removes them.
Analytics and cookies
We do not run advertising or tracking cookies. If we turn on Cloudflare Web Analytics, it loads only after you accept it in the bar at the bottom of the page, and you can decline.
Who handles the data
The site, its database and our email run on Cloudflare. When we need to send email we use an email delivery provider. We never sell your data or share it for marketing. If you ask for hands-on help, we may point you to SourcingSync, our sister service, but we only pass your details on if you ask us to.
How long we keep it
We keep an enquiry as long as we need it to answer you and follow up, and a newsletter address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
Your choices
Write to team@sourcingfrom.comto see what we hold about you, correct it or have it deleted. Every newsletter has a way to unsubscribe.
Changes
When this policy changes we update this page and the date at the top.
