iPHEX

iPHEX is Pharmexcil's export fair for medicines, APIs, healthcare products, AYUSH and nutraceuticals. It flies in overseas delegates, sets up meetings and runs factory visits. It's for regulated buyers - importers, distributors and procurement bodies with the licences to bring these goods in.

If that's you then it's one of the better-organised Indian fairs. If it isn't, the licence question will stop you long before the stand does.

  • Dates: Dates not yet on the organiser's site for the 13th edition. Pharmexcil's chairman announced 19 to 21 August 2027 at Bharat Mandapam at the close of the 2026 show (trade press), but iphex-india.com still showed the 2026 edition on 28 September 2026. Hold off on bookings until it's on the official site.

Who exhibits

Pharmexcil, the commerce ministry's pharma export council, organises it. Exhibitors are council members, meaning registered pharma and healthcare exporters. In 2026 that meant 405 Indian sellers meeting 468 international buyers from 128 countries (Pharmexcil, reported by The Machine Maker).

Membership proves an export record, not a manufacturing licence. A stand may be a manufacturer, a merchant exporter or a marketing company that contracts production out, and all are normal in this sector. Ask which licensed plant makes the product and ask to see its approvals, because that plant is what your regulator will register.

Hosted-buyer terms

As published September 2026, the organiser invites 600 or more overseas delegates, sets up meetings and arranges visits to manufacturing plants. Hotel and airfare terms aren't published.

Visa

Use the e-Business Visa. Apply at least two weeks ahead and ask for an invitation letter with your delegate registration.

Getting there

Bharat Mandapam is at Pragati Maidan in central New Delhi. ITPO says the 123-acre complex has metro connectivity and underground parking. The 2026 show used halls 1 to 5, so check which gate serves your hall (ITPO and Pharmexcil, read September 2026).

What to expect

A delegate programme with a heavy meeting schedule. The 2026 edition logged 8,504 business meetings, with formulations, APIs and therapeutics making up the product mix (Pharmexcil, reported by The Machine Maker). Factory visits are part of the offer, so name the plants that matter to your product when you register.
