BIOFACH India

If you import certified organic food, natural products or millets then BIOFACH India is the one Indian show built around your category.

It's the Indian edition of the big Nuremberg organic fair, run by NuernbergMesse India with Natural Expo India and Millets India alongside. Fair warning though - "organic" on a stand banner is a claim. The fair is a good place to meet certified producers and a bad place to take any certificate on trust.

Next Edition

• Dates: 9 to 11 September 2027, the 19th edition (Verified on the organiser's site, 28 September 2026). The organiser also lists a 20th edition in Mumbai, 25 to 27 May 2028.
• Venue: Delhi-NCR. The organiser hasn't named the hall. Recent editions were at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida.

Who Exhibits

NuernbergMesse India is a private organiser, and its exhibitors are organic and natural food producers, processors and traders, plus a millets section.

No export council sets the rules here, so a stand doesn't have to be a registered exporter or make what it shows. That's normal, because a lot of Indian organic produce is gathered from smallholder groups by a trader who holds the certificate. The questions that matter are who holds the certificate, for which site or grower group, and can a transaction certificate be issued for your shipment?

Apply for the e-Business Visa at least two weeks before you travel, and ask NuernbergMesse India for an invitation letter.

Getting There

If the show stays at India Expo Centre & Mart then you're heading to Knowledge Park II in Greater Noida, outside Delhi proper. The venue says it's linked to Delhi NCR by metro and sits about 30 minutes from Noida International Airport at Jewar (India Expo Centre & Mart, read September 2026). Confirm the hall once the organiser names it.

What to Expect

Expect a category show, smaller than the general fairs, where organic certification is the shared language. Look up every certificate in its scheme's public database before you rely on it, and make sure the scope covers the actual product and site.
